| Endometriosis | The implantation and growth of endometrial cells in the peritoneal cavity that grow and then decay with the menstrual cycle. |
| Fatigue | Exhaustion due to low oxygen levels in the muscles. Low stamina. |
| Fibromyalgia | A group of signs/symptoms that include chronic pain in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues. |
| Fractures | Any kind of broken/cracked bone; From hairline crack to a complete break in bone. |
| Frozen Shoulder | A client gradually loses the ability to move the arm at the shoulder. |
| Gout | Inflammatory arthritis caused by deposits of sodium urate(sodium acid) in and around joints. |

| Muscular Dystrophy | Group of related inherited disorders characterized by degeneration and wasting of muscle tissue. |
| Myofascial Pain Syndrome | Collection of signs/symptoms associated with the development of myofascial trigger points in muscles. |
| Myositis Ossificans | Muscle inflammation with bone formation/or bony deposits in soft tissue. |

| Patellofemoral Syndrome | A condition in which the patellar cartilage becomes irritated as it contacts the femoral cartilage. |
| Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) | Umbrella term for an infection anywhere in the upper reproductive tract of women. |
| Peripheral Neuropathy | Peripheral nerves are damaged through lack of circulation, chemical imbalance, trauma; Or exposure to pathogens or toxic substances. |
| Plantar Fasciitis | Degeneration of collagen at the plantar fascia causing pain. |
| Post Polio Syndrome | A progressive muscular weakness that develops 10-40 years after an initial infection with the Polio virus. |
| Postoperative Situations | Deciding when to massage a client after surgery. Depends on what surgery was for, where incision is, and how large/deep it is. |
| Postural Deviations | Overdeveloped Thoracic or Lumbar curves(hyperkyphosis/hyperlordosis) or a lateral curve in the spine. |

| Raynaud's Syndrome | Defined by episodes of vasospasm of the arterioles in fingers, toes,nose, ears, and lips. Usually cold to the touch. |
| Rheumatoid Arthritis | Autoimmune disease in which immune system attacks synovial membranes;usually in joints of the hands & feet. |
| Sciatica | Syndrome involving motor and/or sensory deficits along the course of the sciatic nerve. |
| Scoliosis | A postural deviation where there is a lateral curve in the spine. S, C, or Reverse C curve. |
| Seizure Disorders | Epilepsy; Any condition that causes seizures. |
| Shin Splints | Lower leg injuries including compartment syndromes, muscle tears, hairline fractures usually brought on by overuse or misalignment at the ankle. |
| Sinusitis | Inflammation of the paranasal sinuses from allergies, infection, or physical obstruction. |
| Skin Cancer | Uncontrolled replication of cells forming tumors. Four classes include benign, malignant, metastasis,and carcinogen. |
| Sleep Disorders | Insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, circadian rhythm disruption all make it difficult to sleep or wake up feeling refreshed. |
| Sprains | Tears to ligaments. Injuries can range from a few traumatized fibers to a complete rupture. |

| Thyroid Disease (Graves Disease) | Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyoidism; When Thyroid gland produces either too much, or too little of the hormones that stimulate the conversion of fuel to energy. |
| Torticollis (wryneck) | A unilateral spasm of the neck muscles. (stiff-neck) |
| Urinary Tract Infection | An infection caused by bacteria anywhere in the lower urinary systems; Primarily lower urinary tract, urethra, and the bladder. |
| Varicose Veins | Distended veins, usually in the legs, caused by venous insufficiency and retrograde flow of blood that should be moving against gravity. |
