| Angular Artery | Branch of external maxillary artery; supplies blood to sides of nose |
| Anterior Auricular Artery | Branch of superficial temporal artery; supplies blood to anterior part of the ear |
| Anterior Tibial Artery | Supplies blood to just below the knee passes down between the tibia and fibula to branch off into smaller arteries into the skin and muscles in the lower leg |
| Artery | Tubular elastic thick-walled branching vessel. Carries pure blood from the heart through the body |
| Blood | Sticky salty fluid that circulates through the body bringing nourishment and oxygen to all parts and carrying toxins and waste products to the liver and kidneys to be eliminated |

| Popliteal Artery | Supplies blood to knee joint and muscles in the thigh and calf |
| Posterior Auricular Artery | Branch of the external carotid artery; supplies blood to scalp, above and behind the ears |
| Posterior Tibial Artery | Supplies blood beneath calf muscle to the skin muscles and other tissues of the lower leg |
| Pulmonary Circulation | When blood travels through the pulmonary artery to the lungs where it is oxygenated |

| Vein | Tubular elastic thin walled branching vessel that carries in pure blood from the capillaries to the heart |
