| Umbilical | Centermost region, deep to and surrounding the umbilicus(navel) |
| Epigastric | Superior to the Umbilical region (epi=upon,above)(gastric=stomach) |
| Hypogastric(pubic) | Inferior to the Umbilical region (hypo=below) |
| Inguinal right & left iliac | Lateral to the Hypogastric Region (ilic=superior part of the hip bone) |
| Right & Left Lumbar | Lateral to the Umbilical region (lumbus=loin) |
| Right & Left Hypochondriac | Lateral to the Epigastric region and contain the lower ribs (chondro=cartilage) |
