Pituitary Gland | hypophysis. Posterior part of the gland secretes a hormone for uterine contraction and "let down" reflex of milk. The anterior releases thyroid stimulation hormone (TSH) etc. |
Thymus Gland | Composed of lymphoid tissue located in the chest area. regulated circulation defenses. By puberty, it may be replaced by fat. |
Thyroid Gland | Bi-lobe ductless gland located in the neck. Regulates metabolism and serum calcium levels. |
