Circumduction   Moving in a circle at a joint, or moving one end of a body part in a circle while the other remains stationary, such as swinging arm in a circle.

Abduction   Moving a body art aay from the midline.

Rotation   Turning a body part arond its own axis; for example, turning the head from side to side.

Muscle Tone   State of partial muscle contraction providing a state of readiness to react.

Contracture   Tightening or shortening of a muscle.
