| Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) | Government agency under the department of labor
Function- Establishes minimum health and safety standards for the workplace and the enforce those standards

Methods used to make the patient, the worker, and the environment as pathogens free as possible
2 types of Asepsis:
1. Medical Asepsis-Clean technique
2. Surgical Asepsis-Sterile technique
