| 1 c. cake flour | 1 c.- 2 Tbsp. (7/8 c.) all-purpose flour

| 1 c. self-rising flour | 1 c. all-purpose flour + 1 tsp. baking powder + 1/2 tsp. salt

| 1 c. buttermilk | 1 Tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar + enough milk to equal 1 c.
