Definition
LUQ   Left Upper Quadrant. Located in left upper portion of the abdomen. Includes stomach, spleen, left kidney, parts of duodenum, pancreas, left ureter, small intestine and tranverse and descending colon

LLQ   Left Lower Quadrant. Located in left lower portion of the admomen. Includes small intestine, descending and sigmoid colon, rectum, left ureter and urninary bladder

RLQ   Right Lower Quadrant. Located in the right lower portion of the abdomen. Includes appendix, cecum, and partial view of ascending colon, small intestine, right ureter, urinary bladder and rectum

RUQ   Right Upper Quadrant. Located in the right upper portion of the abdomen. Includes gallbladder, most of liver, and partial view of pancreas, small intestine and ascending and transverse colon
