Sagittal plane   A plane that divides the body to form a right and left side.

Midsagittal plane   A plane that evenly divides the the body to form a right and left side. Also known as a Median

Coronal plane   Divides the body to form a front and back side. (Also known a the frontal plane)

Parasagittal plane   Divides the body to form a left and right side but not evenly , parallel to the sagittal plane  
🗑
Transverse plane   Divides the body to form superior and inferior parts.  
🗑
Oblique plane   Any cut that isn't parallel to any of the other planes.
