Midsagittal plane | A plane that evenly divides the the body to form a right and left side. Also known as a Median

Coronal plane | Divides the body to form a front and back side. (Also known a the frontal plane)

Parasagittal plane | Divides the body to form a left and right side but not evenly , parallel to the sagittal plane

Transverse plane | Divides the body to form superior and inferior parts.

Oblique plane | Any cut that isn't parallel to any of the other planes.
