Parathyroid Gland   Small round bodies located on the posterior side of the thyroid gland. regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism

Pituitary Gland   hypophysis. Posterior part of the gland secretes a hormone for uterine contraction and "let down" reflex of milk. The anterior releases thyroid stimulation hormone (TSH) etc.

Thymus Gland   Composed of lymphoid tissue located in the chest area. regulated circulation defenses. By puberty, it may be replaced by fat.

Thyroid Gland   Bi-lobe ductless gland located in the neck. Regulates metabolism and serum calcium levels.
