Pancreatic Cancer   vague, nonspecific sysmptoms (abdominal pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, bloating, diarrhea, jaundice) cancer of the pancreas, arising from exocrine glands; High mortality rate.

Peptic Ulcer Disease   ulcer in the lining of the lower esophagus, stomach or duodenum, thought to be caused by gastric acids. nausea, pain, vomiting, weight loss. AKA: PUD

Polyps   small tumors attached to the mucous membrane of the colon. may be benign, precancerous or the site of cancer.

Pyrosis   Painful burning sensation generally caused by stomach acid splashing up into the esophagus. AKA:Heartburn

Volvulus   Painful condition in which the bowel twists upon itself causing and obstruction. generally requires immediate surgery
