| DDX : Differential Diagnosis | Several test used to make a final diagnose on the cause of a patients symptoms, or condition. |
| BMI : Body Mass Index | Measures of a patients height and weight to indicate if a patient is healthy or unhealthy. |
| PMHx : Past Medical History | A record of the patients previous illness, allergies, exams results, etc. |
| NAD : No Acute Distress | The patients is well and no signs of severe illness. |
| I/O : Input/Output | The measurement of fluids that are entering and leaving the body. |
| Addison’s Disease | A disorder that causes the adrenal lands to not produce sufficient hormones. |
| Gilbert’s Syndrome | A inherited condition in which the liver can’t process bilirubin. |
| Hodgkin’s Disease | Cancer of the lymphatic system which enables the body to properly fight infections. |
| Pott’s Disease | Is tuberculosis of the spine which cause your spine to deteriorate. |
| Meige Syndrome | A neurological facial disorder that causes involuntary facial spasms. |
| Idiopathic | Unknown cause of the disease. |
| Pruritus | Itching in any part of the body. |
| Ecchymosis | A large bruise caused by rupture of blood vessels under the skin. |
| Angina | Chest paint caused by insufficient blood flow to the heart. |
| Edema | Swelling caused by to much fluid from tissues in the body. |
