Due Process Clause - The fourth amendment states that everyone who is convicted of a crime has rights. The rights are to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These rights state everyone has a fair trial and cannot just be put in jail.

Procedural Due Process limits on the assertion of personal jurisdiction over a defendant to a lawsuit, limiting the locations where that defendant may be hauled
Civil law Private disputes between people over property or relationships
Criminal law Deals with crimes and punishment
