trapezius insertion posterior lateral third of clavicle, triangular space at base of scapular spine
Innervation for trapezius spinal accessory nerve (cranial nerve XI) and branches of C3, C4
Rhomboids origin spinous process of seventh cervical (C7)l and first five thoracic vertebrae (T1-T5)
Rhomboids insertion medial border of scapula below spine of scapula
Rhomboids innervation dorsal scapular nerve (C5)
Latissimus dorsi origin posterior crest of ilium, back of sacrum & spinous processes of lumbar and lower 6 thoracic vertebrae
Latissimus dorsi insertion medial lip of intertubercular groove of humerus
Latissimus dorsi innervation thoracodorsal nerve (C6-C8)
Deltoid anterior fibers origin anterior lateral third of the clavicle
Deltoid middle fibers origin lateral aspect of the acromion
Deltoid posterior fibers origin inferior edge if spine of scapula
Deltoids insertion deltoid tuberosity on the lateral humerus
Deltoids innervation axillary nerve (C5, C6)
Pectoralis major UPPER fibers origin medial half of anterior surface of clavicle
Pectoralis major LOWER fibers origin anterior surface of costal cartilages of the first 6 ribs and adjacent potion or sternum
Pectoralis major insertion flat tendon 2 or 3 inches wise to lateral lip of intertubercular groove of humerus
Pectoralis major UPPER fibers innervation lateral pectoral nerve (C5-C7)
Pectoralis minor LOWER fibers innervation medial pectoral nerve (C8, T1)
