amendment process Article 5 system in which power to govern is shared between national and provintical state goverments
supremacy clause Article 6 stating that all laws made furthering the Constitution and all treaties made under the authority of the US are the Supreme law of the land
ratification 7 a principals approval of an act of its agent where the agent lacked authority to legally bind the principal
bill of rights a list of the most important rights of the citizens of a country
