what are some informal qualifications? college education, clean record, married, past experience, christian religion, male.
what are some benifits of being president? $400,000 a year with a 50,000 expence allowance, mansion, full staff, airforce one, health care for life.
explain the role of the vice president, historically and presently. the vice president is to be a tie breaker in 50/50 vote, preside over senate, help decide the question of presidential disability.
why were the 12th, 22nd, and 23rd ammendments so important? 12th-president was able to choose his own VP, 22nd- limited terms to 2, 23rd-gave D.C electoral votes.
what are the three flaws of the electoral college? the popular vote winner doesnt win the electoral college votes. electors dont have to vote for the popular vote winner, the house could end up deciding who is president.
describe the number of electoral votes a state gets. the number of congressional seats.
describe the election process of the primary, cacus, and national convention. primary-vote for specific candidate, private. cacus- a gathering of people to vote, public, National convention-large meeting attended by delegates, majority decides who wins.
