electrodesiccation destruction of tissue by burning or drying the tissue with an electric spark; primarily used to destroy superficial growths such as warts, but may also be used on deeper tissues
Mohs surgery surgical procedure for malignant skin growths that involves the removal of the visible and root portions of the malignancy in mapped layers
rhytidectomy excision or removal of excess skin for the elimination of wrinkles; also called a face-lift
rhytidoplasty surgical repair of wrinkles
