What is a Decubitus ulcer? Bedsore, occurs in patients who are bedridden and are not turned regularly enough.
What is Keratin? A fibrous protein that fives the epidermis its durability and protective capabilities.
What are the five layer of the epidermis? Stratum basale, Stratum spinosum, Stratum granulosum, Strantum lucidum, and Stradum corneum
What is the dermal papillae? attaches dermis and epidermis
What is caused when the dermal papillae separate? A blister
What gland is locate next to the hair in the hair follicle? Sebaceous gland duct
What is Cytokinesis? Division of the cytoplasm
What is the first stage of Mitosis? Prophase
What happens during Anaphase? Chromosomes split @ centromere into identical chromids that migrate to the pole
What happens during Metaphase? Chromosome line up in the middle
What are the three steps to the Cell Cycle? Interphase, Mitosis, and Cytokinesis
