Pharynx

QuestionAnswer
A cavity located posterio to the mouth. It serves as a passageway from the mouth to the esophagus. Pharynx
______ is above the palate and provides a passageway for air during respiration. Nasopharynx
______ is behind the palate and extends downward toward the epiglottis. Oropharynx
_____ is below the oropharynx and extends from the epiglottis to the larynx, where it joins w/ the esophagus. Laryngopharynx
