2.B1 Discuss the item developed in Phase I (Plan) of the Task Based Curriculum Development. TPP (Training Project Plan) - identifies materials required and the sequence of events in the development process.
2.B2 Discuss the item developed in Phase II (Analyze) of the Task Based Curriculum. CTTL (Course Training Task List) - Produces job tasks, task sequence, level of performance, and the skills and knowledge which must be taught.
2.B3 Discuss the item developed in Phase III (Design). COI (Course Outline of Instruction)- Produces the course LO's and an instructional sequence.
2.B4 State the two categories of learning objectives. Terminal Objective, Enabling Objective.

2.B11 Explain the purpose of conducting a pilot. To validate the curriculum and materials.
2.B12 List the justifiable reasons for developing, revising, or canceling a course. NITSET: Navy Training Plans, Internal/External course review, Tasking by higher Authority, Surveillance, External Feedback, Training Appraisal
2.B13 Discuss the purpose of Phase V (Implement). After the course pilot, the letter of promulgation is issued and the formal course commences.
2.B14 Discuss the purpose of Phase VI (Evaluate). Constant improvement of training materials. Formal Course Reviews, "Constant evaluation and validation. Members of the fleet help serve that purpose."
2.B15 Discuss the following as used in the CTTL: a. Job, b. Duty, c. Task Job: made up of duties and tasks. Duty: major part of job. Involves groups of closely related tasks. Task: major part of duty. Clusters of tasks make up a duty.
2.B16 State the difference between a course mission statement and a terminal objective. The Mission Statement is about the course, and the Terminal Objective is about the student.
2.B17 Describe the three products of a Training Course Control Document. FRONT MATTER: cover page, title page, letter of promulgation, foreword, table of contents, course data, trainee data, security clearance, NEC, obliserve. COI: LO's. ANNEXES: RRL, texts, references, equipment, IMM/VI, other curriculum maintenance.
