government the institution through which a society makes and enforces public policy

confederation an alliance of independent states
presidential government separation of power between an executive and legislative branch
parliamentary government the executive branch is made of a prime minister and a cabinet who are also part of the legislative branch

citizen one who holds both rights and responsibilities in a state
