Cell Membrane Found in Plants and Animal cells. It function is to protect the cell and allow materials to enter or prevent then from entering
Cell wall Found in plant cells. Function is to protect the cell and the provide structural support.
Chloroplast(chlorophyll) Found in plant cells. Function is to trap sunlight and the convert it to energy; it also gives the plant color.
Cytoplasm Found in plant and animal cells. function is Gel-like substance that allows chemical processes to take place and holds organelles in place.
Golgi Apparatus Found in plant and animal cells. Function is to store protein and help transport of materials.
Lysosome Found in animal cells. Function is to digest unwanted materials or pathogens.
Mitochondria Found in animal and plant cells. Function is it makes energy for the cell
Nuclear membrane Found in animal and plant cells. Function is to protect outer covering of the nucleus.
Nucleolus Found in animal and plant cells. Function is to condense DNA
Nucleus Found in animal and plant cells. Function is the made up of nuclear membrane and nucleolus,protects DNA
Ribosome Found in animal and plant cells. Function it makes protein
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER) Found in plant and animal cells. Transport proteins into and out of the cells; has ribosomes on its surface.
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum(SER) Found int plant and animal cells. Function is does the same thing as (RER) and it has not ribosomes.
Centriole Found in plant and animal cells. Function is to provide spindles to pull chromosomes apart during mitosis
Vacuole Found in plant and animal cells. Function is it stores material for the cell like water and protein.**** Plant cells are much larger
Cytoskeleton Found in animal and plant cells. Function is the microfibers that structurally support the cell.
