| 3rd Amendment | No Quartering Soldiers - Soldiers can not live in a house without permission from the owner |
| 4th Amendment | No Unreasonable Search and Seizure |
| 5th Amendment | Key Protections - Right to Remain Silent, Double Jeopardy, Grand Jury, and Eminent Domain |
| 6th Amendment | Key Protections - Speedy and Public Trial, Impartial Jury, Inform of Accusations, and Assistance of Counsel, |
| 7th Amendment | Guarantees the right to a jury trial in federal civil cases (lawsuits between private parties, not criminal cases) where the dispute exceeds $20 |
| 8th Amendment | No cruel or unusual punishment and no excessive bail |
| 9th Amendment | Enumerated Rights - rights to the people |
| 10th Amendment | Powers reserved for the states or to the people (that are not delegated to the U.S. by the constitution) |
| 11th Amendment | People can't sue states other than their own |
| 12th Amendment | The president + vice president are on the same ticket (one vote for president and one for vice president) |

| 14th Amendment | Granted citizenship, guaranteed equal protection and due process, and prohibited states from violating these rights |

| 23rd Amendment | Grants residents of Washington, D.C. the right to vote in presidential elections by allocating electors to the District in the Electoral College |

| 25th Amendment | Presidential succession, vice president vacancy, voluntary or involuntary transfer of power |
| 26th Amendment | Starts voting age at 18 |
| 27th Amendment | prohibits any law changing the compensation of Senators and Representatives from taking effect until after an intervening election - Congressional compensation |
