| Can representatives be re-elected? If so, how many times? | Yes, and unlike presidents, they have no limits as long as they are able. |
| What determines how many representatives are in each district? | The population. |
| What is Gerrymandering? | Drawing congressional districts in order to provide an unfair advantage to a political party. |
| Who draws Congressional districts? | Legislatures |
| How often are Congressional districts drawn? | Every 10 years after the census is drawn |
| Why do the parties in power draw the districts? | In an attempt to have the biggest advantage for voting. |
| Where can district drawing cause problems? | It can cause parties to win just marginally just because more states technically agree with them because it's a winner takes all prizes system. |
| How many senators are there for each state? | 2 for each state |
| How long is a term a senator serves? | 6 years |
| Do senators have limits on how many terms they can serve? | No. They can have as many as they want. |
| What does it mean that Senate terms are staggered? | Not everyone is necessarily available to reapply at the same time because it's a constant shift. |
| How many groups are senators divided into? | 3, each just says when they were up for election or have reelection opportunities. |
| Why do these Senate groups exist? | To ensure no state has both electing and reelecting Senate members at the same time. |
| How long is a Congressional term? | 2 years, starting at the 3rd of January. |
| How many Congress sessions happen per year? | 1 per year. |
| Where do representatives generally live during work? | Washington D.C |
| What do representatives do when not living in D.C? | They work in their home districts/states to meet with locals and local officials, go to town hall, and plan and make campaigns. |
| What is the requirements to be a representative? | Live where they are elected, be at least 25, be a citizen for at least 7 years. |
| What is the requirements to be a senator? | Live where they are elected, be at least 30, be a citizen for at least 9 years. |
