| Phalanges | Bones that make up the fingers and toes. |
| Metacarpals | Long bones found in the palm of the hand. |
| Central Nervous System | The part of the nervous system that includes the brain and spinal cord. The body's main control center. It receives information from the body, processes it, and sends out instructions. |
| Adrenal glands | Produce hormones that help regulate metabolism, stress response, blood pressure, and immune function. |
| Adenohypophysis | Region of the hypophysis that contains secretory endocrine cells derived from the oral ectoderm. |
| Perfusion Pressure. | The localized pressure gradient needed to maintain blood flow in a tissue. |
| Pulse pressure | The difference between systolic pressure and diastolic pressure. |
| Lymph nodes | Clusters of immune cells that filter lymph fluid and help the body fight infections. |
| Monocyte | A type of blood cell produced by lymph nodes |
| Inguinal lymph nodes | The lymph nodes located in the groin. |
