eustachian tube a tube lined with mucous membrane that joins the nasopharynx and the tympanic cavity, allowing equalization of the air pressure in the inner ear with atmospheric pressure

femoral nerve the large femoral nerve is one of several nerves emerging from the lumbar plexus. It divides into many branches supplying the thigh and leg.
fibrous tissue the fibrous connective tissue of the body, consisting of closely woven elastic fibers and fluid-filled areolae (i.e. a small space or a cavity within a tissue).
gallbladder a pear-shaped excretory sac lodged in a fossa on the surface of the right lobe of the liver. It serves as a reservoir for bile (i.e. a yellow-green secretion of the liver which disperses fats to prepare them for further digestion and absorption in the sma
humerus the largest bone of the upper arm, comprising a body, a head, and a condyle rounded projection at the end of a bone anchoring ligaments and articulating with adjacent bones).
ileum the distal portion of the small intestine, extending from the jejunum to the cecum. It is a site of nutrient absorption.
kidney one of a pair of bean-shaped urinary organs in the dorsal part of the abdomen, one on each side of the vertebral column, between the level of the twelfth thoracic vertebra.
left atrium superior left chamber of the heart
mandible a large bone constituting the lower jaw.
