Organs in the Body Systems

| Circulatory/Cardiovascular System | Transport oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and waste products throughout the body via the heart, blood, and blood vessels. |
| Respiratory System | Facilitates gas exchange by bringing oxygen into the body and releasing carbon dioxide. |
| Digestive System | Breaks down food, absorbs, nutrients, and eliminates waste. |
| Urinary System | Removes waste from the blood, helps maintain fluid and electrolyte balance, and includes the kidneys and bladder. |
| Endocrine | Produces and secretes hormones that regulate the body's growth, metabolism, and sexual development. |
| Nervous System | A complex network including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves that coordinates and controls bodily functions. |
| Integumentary System | Forms a protective outer barrier and includes the skin, hair, and nails. |
| Skeletal System | Provides support for the body and protects internal organs. It consists of bones, cartilage, and ligaments. |
| Muscular System | Responsible for body movement, maintaining posture, and producing heat. It includes skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscles. |
| Lymphatic System | Defends the body against infection by managing fluid levels and protecting against foreign invaders. |
