civil law laws that are created to deal with relationships amongst individuals

misdemeanor a less serious crime usually punishable by fines, community service, probation & no more than one year of imprisonment
capital crimes felonies that can be punishable by death
delinquent act an act committed by a juvenile that would be a criminal offense according to adult law
unruly act an act committed by a juvenile that would not be a criminal offense according to adult law
