| equation | a statement indicating the equality between two values |
| subtraction | the process or act of taking away one number from another |
| formula | a rule or law represented in symbols, letters, or numbers |
| function | a quantity whose value changes according to another quantity's varying value |
| factor | one of the numbers that another number can be divided by |
| dividend | the number to be divided in a division problem |
| divisor | the number that divides another number in a division problem |
| mathematical | related to or used in mathematics |
| minimal | very small in amount or degree, often the smallest possible |
| numerical | represented in numbers |
| countless | so numerous that it cannot be easily counted or quantified |

| ordinal | a number that indicates the position of something in a sequence, such as third, second, etc. |

| segment | a part of a circle that is separated from the rest by a line |
| solid | a shape that is not two-dimensional because it has height, width, and length |
