NKS Joint Terms

| A type of joint, fully movable, where the bones are separated by a fluid filled cavity. Example: knee and elbow joints. | Synovial joint |
| A joint where bones are connected entirely by cartilage, allowing for limited movement. Example: joints between the vertebrae. | Cartilaginous joints |
