| pluralism | The existence of a diversity of ethnic, social, religious, and political backgrounds, various groups with different views on right and wrong |
| political ideology | Set of related beliefs based on an underlying worldview that focuses on solving societal problems with the application of political power |
| culture wars | Conflict between groups with different ideals, beliefs, and philosophies |
