Anatomy the study of the structure of the body
Physiology the study of the function of the body
Subcutaneous deepest layer of the skin, situated beneath the dermis and above the muscles and bones
Dermis the middle layer of the skin, located between the epidermis and subcutaneous tissue
Epidermis the outer-most layer of the skin, serving as a protective barrier against external factors
Nucleus a membrane-bound organelle found in eukaryotic cells, serving as the cell's control center
Bone a rigid connective tissue that forms the main component of the skeletal system
Cartilage a flexible connective tissue that provides support and cushioning in the body
Articulations/Joints a point where two or more bones, or bone and cartilage, connect
Coronal Plane a vertical plane that divides the body into front and back sections
