What are Legends? Traditional stories about the past.
Are legends facts or false? Facts, proven to be true.
What are Legends based on? Legends are based on facts. Turned into fiction over the many retellings.
How did Legends start? (Verbally, on paper, ect) Started verbally before they were written down.
How are humans in Legends? They are larger than life.
Does every culture has its own legends with cultural elements. Yes.
Causeways? Roads across the wet ground or shallow water.
Irrigation? The act of supplying water to the land or crops.
Nobility? People with high rank in society.
Goblets? Bowl shaped drinking containers without handles.
Decreed? Officially ordered.
Relished? Enjoyed; liked.
Unaimanmous? Based on complete agreement.
Refute? To prove that someone is wrong.
Tenochtitlan: Inside the Aztec Capital was based on what? Essay based on all facts proven to be true.
What was the main crop for the Aztecs. The main crop was corn.
Aztecs? Strong warriors, power, selfish (Emperor).
Tenochtitlan? Swampy, lots of water.
Who had the floating gardens? Tenochtilan.
What did the Aztecs value? They valued family and lived in compounds.
What is Popocatepetl and Ixtlaccihuatl based on and how are the humans? Based on the Aztecs, with larger than life humans.
What does Ixtaccihuatl mean? "The White Woman"
What does Popcatepetl mean? "Smoking mountain"
