Dura mater Made of strong white fibrous tissue, serves as the outer layer of the meninges.
Falx cerebri Projects downward of the dura mater into the longitudinal fissure to form a partition between the two cerebral hemispheres.
Falx cerebelli Sickle-shaped extension that separates the two hemispheres of the cerebellum.
Tentorium cerebelli Separates the cerebellum from the cerebrum, forms a tentlike covering over the cerebellum.
Spinal cord An oval cylinder that tapers slightly as it descends and has two bulges, in the cervical and lumbar regions.
