Blood Unit

TermDefinition
Hypochromia When RBC have less color to them, usually due to a deficiency of hemoglobin.
Splenomegaly When the spleen becomes larger than normal.
Colley's Anemia Inherited blood disorder that causes a reduced production in hemoglobin.
Hematocrit Blood test that measures percentage of RBC in your blood.
How can hematocrit be used to diagnose Leukemia and Anemia. Low levels of RBC indicate Leukemia and Anemia.
Name the 3 types of blood cells. Erythrocytes, Thrombocytes, Leukocytes
