| Clause | A group of words that has a subject and a predicate, forming part of a compound or complex sentence. |
| Claustrophobia | An abnormal fear of narrow or closed spaces. |
| Cluster | A group of the same or similar elements close together |
| Conclude | To end, to close an event, book or movie; to decide. |
| Enclose | To close; to surround on all sides. |
| Exclude | To keep out; to prevent from entering; to keep closed off. |
| Exclusive | Private; closed off to those not permitted. |
| Preclude | To prevent something from happening. |
| Reclusive | Seeking to be closed off from others; preferring to be isolated and alone. |
| Secluded | Kept apart from others; closed off; private. |
| Correspond | To be similar, or to answer though writing. |
| Despondent | Without hope or promise; hopeless. |
| Espouse | To pledge one's loyalty to; to support. |
| Irresponsible | Not reliable; untrustworthy; not answering for one's actions. |
| Respond | To answer' to make a reply. |
| Responsible | Reliable; worthy of trust; to answer for one's actions. |
| Sponsor | To assume responsibility for someone else; to promise to pay for someone's expense. |
| Spontaneous | Unplanned; happening without external cause; no promise of a plan. |
| Spouse | A marriage partner; a person who pledged marriage. |
| Responsive | Answering, reacting. |
