1. What caused the Second Great Schism? The Second Great Schism happened due to the church having three Pope at once before removing them and replacing one pope which confused the people on who they should fellow.
2. Give an example of how scholars challenged the church. Scholars such as John Wycliffe, preached that Jesus Christ, not the pope, was the true head of the Church.
3. How did the black plague come to be? The black plague started back in Asia and then swept Italy and rest of europe through trade routes.
4. What were the results of the black plague? The black plague had killed about one-third of the European population and
5. What was the hundred year war? The hundred year war was a war fought between both England and France as England’s Edward III tried to claim the French throne.
6. What were the results of the hundred year war? The hundred year war caused the power and prestige of the French monarch increased as well as a strong feeling of nationalism emerging in France and England.
