What is pH? pH is a quantitative measure of the amount of acidity or basicity (alkalinity) of a solution.
What are the layers of the epidermis? Stratum Spinosum, Stratum Granulosum, Stratus Lucidem, Stratum Corneum

How do bones help with storing energy? The bones store energy reserves as lipids (fats) in yellow bone marrow area, yellow marrow has adipose tissue and there are triglycerides stored in the adipocytes and they can be released to serve as energy for other tissues
What is the strongest & most durable type of cartilage? Fibrocartilage
What are the types of bones? Flat, long, short, & irregular
An organization of many similar cells that are specialized to perform a certain function is called Tissue
What is the most abundant & widespread tissue in the body? Connective
What is a Negative Feedback Loop? The bodies response to change in order to return back to homeostasis
What is the smallest unit of structure and function in the body? Cells
What are the pH Scale numbers? 0-6 is Acidic 7 is neutral 8-14 is Basic (Alkaline)
What are the phases of Mitosis? 1. Prophase 2. Metaphase 3. Anaphase 4. Telophase
