Allergy Types

Type I Anaphlyaxis
Anaphylaxis When exposure to an allergenn produces IgE instead of IgG IgE activates basophils, causing extreme inflammatory responses and causes vasodilation which drops BP and can be fatal
Type II Cytotoxic Allergies
Cytotoxic Allergies Blood/Organ rejection due to IgG and IgM reacting to a different blood type and breaking down blood, releasing extra hemoglobin
Type III Immune Complex
Immune Complex IgA and IgM don't completely break down an antigen - remaining pieces alert immune system and creates an autoimmune response
Type IV Cell-Mediated
Cell-Mediated APC mistakes an antigen as an invader and alerts basophils
