Carpal bones Eight carpal bones comprise the wrist.
Wrist muscles Muscles include flexor and extensor carpi groups.
Scaphoid One of the eight carpal bones in the wrist.
Lunate Another carpal bone located next to the scaphoid.
Triquetrum A carpal bone situated next to the lunate.
Pisiform A small carpal bone resting on the triquetrum.
Trapezium Carpal bone that articulates with the thumb.
Trapezoid A carpal bone located next to the trapezium.
Capitate Largest carpal bone, located centrally in the wrist.
Hamate Carpal bone with a hook-like projection.
