45. What phrase in the Preamble refers to the principle of popular sovereignty? 45. "We the People"
46. How does the Electoral College work? 46. Each state chooses electors, based on the total amount of Congressmen for the state; these electors vote as the popular vote of the state did. The candidate for President that receives the most Electoral Votes is elected President.
47. What is Article I of the US Constitution? 47. The establishment of the Legislative Branch (the branch that creates laws)
48. What is Article II of the US Constitution? 48. The establishment of the Executive Branch (the branch that enforces laws)
49. What is Article III of the US Constitution? 49. The establishment of the Judicial Branch (Federal Supreme Court, State Supreme Courts, and local court systems)
