| What are the powers of Congress? | Makes laws, controls finances, declares war, maintains Army/Navy, amends constitution, impeaches government officials |
| What are Ex Post Facto laws? | Congress cannot pass laws that criminalize actions that were legal at the time they were committed |
| What are Bills of Attainder? | Congress cannot pass circumvent due process |
| What is the Writ of Habeas Corpus? | Congress cannot suspend an arrested person's write to make the government prove to a judge that the arrest and detainment are justified |
| What is a Bicameral Legislature? | System wherein Congress is separated into two separate chambers. |
