| Sympathetic nervous system | (SNS) “fight of flight” |
| Parasympathetic nervous system | (PNS) Calming of the body |
| Heart | Muscular organ that pumps blood throughout the body, and provides nutrients to the body. |
| Chambers | 4 chambers in heart right, and left atria, and right and left ventricles. |
| Valves | 4 heart valves in heart to ensure blood flow in one direction. From the aortic valve, the mitral valve, the pulmonary valve, and the tricuspid valve. |
| Electrical System | Controls the heart rate and rhythm of the heartbeat. |
