Nationalism

QuestionAnswer
Nationalism The idea of being strongly attached to a country or nation, usually through loyalty or devotion.
Nation-state The nation state is a certain form of state that has a territory where mainly one nation lives with common interests or ideas.
Patriotism The love and pride one has for their country.
Self-governance The independence of a government from external political control.
Unification The process of combining two or more things into a single unit.
confederation A group of independent states that work together for a common cause
Nativism A policy of favoring native-born inhabitants of a country rather than immigrants.
Self-determination The right of people to make their own decisions and live their lives without outside interference.
