heart

TermDefinition
aorta the body's largest artery and is responsible for transporting oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the rest of the body
superior vena cava a large, significant vein responsible for returning deoxygenated blood collected from the body to the right atrium
right coronary artery a primary coronary artery that supplies blood to the right side of the heart and some parts of the left side
inferior vena cava the large vein that returns blood from the legs and abdomen to the heart.
pulmonary arteries blood vessels that carry oxygen-poor blood from the right side of your heart to your lungs.
left coronary artery supplies blood to the left side of the heart muscle
auricle collects, directs, and amplifies sound waves into the ear canal.
