Where and how is genetic information stored?

QuestionAnswer
Cell The basic unit of life, that makes up all living organisms and tissues of the body
Nucleus Largest organelle in the cell. It is considered the control center directing all cellular activities. Your DNA is contained within this organelle.
DNA The organism's genetic material. Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid is contained within the nucleus of cells.
chromosome Coiled structures of DNA that contains genes.
Gene Sections of chromosomes that code for specific traits.
