| Urine | The liquid waste product produced by the urinary system. It is approximately ninety-five percent water |

| Ureters | Two muscular tubes approximately ten to twelve inches in length (Connects the kidneys to the bladder) |

| Kidneys | Two bean shaped organs lacated on either side of the vertebral column behind the upper part of the abdominal cavity and separated from this cavity by the peritoneum |

| Cortex | Outter section of the kidney |
| Bladder | A hollow, muscular sac that lies behind the spymphysis pubis and at the midline of the pelvic cavity |
