Elasticity Ability to return to original shape after stretching
Smooth – eye dilation Stomach waves Involuntary Non-striated Best ability to regenerate of muscle tissue, but still limited compared to skin
Skeletal Voluntary Striated Limited ability to regenerate
Cardiac Involuntary Striated Cannot regenerate at all
