| PNS (Periphreal Nervous System) | Nerves and nerve tissues that lie in the "outer region" of the Nervous System |
| Dura Matter | Outer most layer of brain meningies |
| Plexus | Complex network of nerves within spinal nerves |
| ENS(Enteric Nervous System) | "Nervous System of the Intestines" |
| Thermoreceptors | Receptors that respond to change of temperature |
| Tympanic Membrane | Ear Drum |
| Tropic Hormone | Hormones that target other endocrine glands and stimulate growth and secretion |
| Somatotropine (STH) | Growth Hormone that stimulates the liver |
| Hematopoiese | Formation of new blood cells within bone marrow |
| Pericardium | Multilayer sac surrounding the heart that acts as protection |
| Systemic Circulation | Route of blood flow from the L ventricle through the body and back to the R atrium of the heart |
| Cardiac Output | Amount of blood that flows out of the ventricle of the heart per unit of time |
