The Reproductive System

sperm the male cells that are used for reproduction
testes the main organs of the male reproductive system
penis the organ that delivers semen to the female reproductive system
egg the female sex cell
ovary the reproductive organ that produces eggs
uterus the organ in which a fertilized egg develops into a baby
embryo once cell division begins the genetic material combine and a unique individual begins to develop
placenta a network of blood vessels that provides the embryo with oxygen and nutrients
